How to update the Teamgo kiosk app for iPad

Teamgo releases new versions of the iPad kiosk app on a regular basis. The updates may resolve bugs, improve features and add additional features. 

You will always have the latest web dashboard, there is nothing to update.

You can enable auto-updates on the iPad (settings app) or update directly from the app store. If you have any issues, close the Teamgo app and restart your iPad.

Manual Update iPad Kiosk App

You can simply tap the Update option from the App Store to update the Teamgo app. However we suggest it's a good option to remove the existing app first, then install a fresh copy as this will also ensure your kiosk displays the latest settings.

  • Logout of your current kiosk app

  • Delete the current version from your device

  • Ensure you have the latest version of iOS installed

  • Go to the Apple App store and install the new update

  • Launch the Teamgo app and login to your account

  • If you require badge printing, reconnect your printer

  • Select the appropriate kiosk to display

  • Test the sign in process 

Note: if you use this method you may need to reconnect your badge printer and enable location settings and camera access again.

Auto Update iPad Kiosk App

  • On your iPad to go Settings app

  • Scroll to App Store

  • Enable Automatic Download toggles for Apps and App Updates

Before updating your operating system ensure Teamgo app is compatible with this version (check with us or take note of the description in the App Store).
