How to Grant Users Access to Billing and Payments

A guide to granting users access to billing and payment information, including downloading invoices, updating payment methods, and managing billing details.

Access Requirements

To view and manage billing and payment information, a user must be assigned to a group with the following permissions:

  • View payments and financial reports

  • Manage agreements, subscriptions, and make payments

Without both permissions, users may experience limited visibility or restricted functionality within the billing section.

Steps to Create a New Group with Billing Permissions

  1. In the dark sidebar, click People.

  2. From the light grey sidebar, select Groups & Permissions.

  3. Click + New Group in the top-right corner of the screen.

  4. Enter a name for the group.

  5. Under permissions, select:

    • View payments and financial reports

    • Manage agreements, subscriptions, and make payments

  6. Scroll down and click Save.

Steps to Add a User to the Group

  1. In the dark sidebar, click People.

  2. From the light grey sidebar, select All.

  3. Search for the user and open their profile.

  4. Under Groups, select the newly created group.

  5. Scroll down and click Save to apply the changes.
