Visitor Badges Overview

How to setup and customise visitor badges

Teamgo lets you print visitor badges when someone signs in via a tablet Kiosk or a QR-code poster. You can also pre-print visitor badges for pre-registered visitors and reprint badges for visitors already on site.

There are two types of visitor badges you can design.

  1. Kiosk Badge - Each tablet Kiosk can have a custom badge, so you can print different layouts and content depending on the kiosk people use to sign in

  2. Global Badge - If you want your badge design to be uniform across multiple kiosks, make use of the global badge. The global badge's expiry setting controls the expiry of ALL visitor badges. Also, automatic badge printing from QR-code poster sign-ins uses the Global Badge template.

Kiosk Badge

Accessing the Kiosk Badge Designer

Access your kiosk list by clicking on the Sign in Dashboard icon on the dark sidebar => Click Sign In points => Select the kiosk of interest

Select the Visitor Badge option on the left sidebar

Kiosk Badge Designer Interface

  • The badge designer has a visual interface where you can rearrange elements/items in the middle of the screen. When you click an item, you can delete it or modify its properties on the right side of the screen.

  • The left side of the screen contains items that you can add if they have not been added yet. You can also set the badge template’s orientation and paper size. Note: If you want to add custom text, use the Text item. The Dynamic text item pulls information from the person's sign-in record.

  • Important: The 1st option on the left side is a checkbox that, when ticked, tells the system that the kiosk will be using the Global Badge template
