When setting up a new QR Code / Web sign-in point, it's important to understand what information you need to collect from visitors and how you want to collect it.

Visitors scan a QR code with their smartphone and sign in using a simple web form on their own device. The link to the webform can also be opened on any device browser.

Smart Tip - keep it simple! Even if you require a lot of information for complex compliance requirements, we provide smart tools to give visitors an easy user experience which is important when people are using technology.

How to Add a new QR code sign in point kiosk.

  1. Log in to Web Dashboard
    Access your administrator account

  2. Navigate to “Sign In Points”
Click the Sign In Dashboard icon on the left sidebar, then select Sign In Points from the submenu.

  3. Create a New Sign-In Point
Click the + Create Sign In Point button at the top right.

  4. Choose QR Code/Browser
In the pop-up window, select QR Code/Browser as the sign-in method.

  5. Name and Assign Location
Enter a name for the new sign-in point (e.g., "Main Entrance QR") and select the appropriate location. Then click Create.

  6. Customize the Workflow
Use the sign-in point designer to build your workflow. You can add various screens such as:

    • Form: Collect visitor information.

    • Take Photo: Capture visitor photos.

    • Information and Signature: Display information or obtain acknowledgments.

    • Select Host: Allow visitors to choose whom they're visiting.

    • Success Screen: Show a confirmation message upon successful sign-in.

    • Check Out: Enable visitors to sign out

  7. Download and Display the QR Code
Once configured, download the QR code image or poster from the sign-in point settings. Print and place it at your desired location for visitors to scan and sign in using their smartphones.

Tips for Effective Use

  • No iPad Needed: QR code kiosks are fully contactless and don't require an iPad.

  • Pre-Registration: You can pre-register visitors and send them QR codes via email for faster check-in.

  • Customization: Tailor the sign-in workflow to meet your organization's compliance and data collection needs.
