Groups, essentially, hold a set of permissions you can assign to a User. It also provides a way to filter Users when looking at different lists and reports. A User can be assigned to more than one Group, and you can create your custom Groups.

How to Access the Groups & Permissions Section
The starting point for the topics in this article will be the Groups & Permissions section, which you can access by clicking the User icon on the left sidebar, and clicking on the Groups & Permissions submenu item.
Adding a New Group
Go to the Groups & Permissions section.
Click on the '+ New Group' button.
Specify a name for the new Group.
If needed, select the dashboard-related permissions that you want to allow.
Click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom.
Changing Group Permissions
Go to the Groups & Permissions section.
Click the pencil icon next to the Group whose permissions you want to modify.
Tick/Untick permissions.
Click the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom.
