Assets and Rooms can help your workplace manage items, spaces, and rooms bookable by your employees and the general public.

Assets and Rooms are Premium Modules available to all plans on request. With Rooms enabled, you can select a room when you pre-register guests, which is very useful.

Assets

Assets is a booking module for items and spaces of limited quantity, such as equipment, lockers, or vehicles. It will be valuable for managing availability and maximizing effective use. It is simple for users to check availability, reserve particular assets, and monitor usage. It facilitates the entire booking process, maximizes resource allocation, and reduces the possibility of duplicate bookings. This module offers a consolidated platform for managing scarce resources, which maximizes utilization, minimizes downtime, and improves overall operational efficiency.

Accessing the Assets Section

You can access the Assets section by clicking the Assets icon on the left sidebar.

Adding an Asset

  • Once in the Assets section, click the + New Asset button at the top right or at the bottom of the left collapsible sidebar.

  • Fill in the main fields, including the room name, rolling days or date range, slot length, color legend, and location.

  • Collapsible sections contain fields that be further customized, including availability, booking data, and booking URL.

  • Click the Save button at the bottom left.

Booking an Asset

If booking for the general public is enabled, slots can be booked using the booking URL. Otherwise, Users can log into the web dashboard, access the Assets section, and select an asset to book on the left collapsible sidebar. They will be presented with a calendar interface.

Rooms

A room booking module, such as one for meetings, is incredibly helpful in streamlining the booking procedure and avoiding duplicate bookings. It's simple for users to check room availability and schedule bookings for a time that works for them. It lowers scheduling conflicts, eliminates the headache of manual booking, and ensures more efficient use of available areas. Ultimately, everyone involved benefits from increased productivity, streamlined procedures, and an improved overall experience.
