Guests are a type of User that does not have an account or access to the web dashboard.

The system is designed to handle guests, who are people outside your organization, with little need for customization. You can read about setting up QR-code, iPad, or browser sign-in points by accessing their respective guides.

In this article, we will discuss the following topics:

Guests Overview

When a guest checks in at a sign-in point or is pre-registered, the system creates a unique record and a guest profile identified by a User ID, a string of random numbers. Data collected, such as email addresses, mobile numbers, photos, and so on, are applied to the guest's profile, meaning they are identifiable in other ways. The system handles QR codes using the same approach. If a guest is issued a QR code, e.g., after pre-registration, the User ID is linked to the QR code. After the system scans their QR code, they input their email or mobile number, or their face goes through recognition AI, etc., we can identify the person and build a history of their movements within your organization.

We offer different ways to check people in/out of the system, and it's up to you to configure what works best for functionality, security, and privacy. We give you options to manage the guest's data, including removal or retrieval. We never allow you to modify a record. You can add notes, but you cannot modify the data captured.
