Introduction to the Education Module

The Teamgo Education Module offers a streamlined and efficient way to manage child-care centers and educational organizations. The Teamgo education module lets you establish relationships within the system between a User and Subuser, such as parent-child, guardian-child, teacher-student, carer-child, etc. The Education module allows the children's guardians to conveniently sign in and sign out a child while conforming to your customized workflow, allowing the system to capture the guardian's photo, signature, etc. This module offers a practical solution for enhancing security and efficiency within child-care and educational settings.

How to Set User Relationships

To set relationships between Users:

  • Go to the child's profile

  • Click the Relationships tab

  • Click the Add Relationship button

  • Choose the relationship

  • Search for the User to link to the child

  • Click Add Now.

It would be a good idea, although not a requirement for setting relationships, to create custom groups for Students, Children, Teachers, Parents, etc. Here is a refresher on User Groups.

Design the Child Drop-off and Pick-up Workflows

You will need the Express Check-in screen as a method of authenticating the User (parent/guardian), and the Sign-in Subusers screen to allow the selection of a Subuser (child) to sign in/out.

You can add optional screens such as the Form, Information & Signature, or Take a Photo screen. Here is a refresher on iPad Sign In Point Workflows.

Working With Children Checks (WWC)

The Education module will also enable the Working with Children Check feature for Users and Visitors. Note: Currently, this feature only applies to Australian customers in VIC.

  • Users - checks are done at each check-in and manual check is available from the User's profile.

  • Visitors - you can add a WWC Identifier field to the Form screen. The ID is validated using the Visitor's full name and the kiosk location address so both have to be valid.
