1. Express Check-in on iPad or Android Tablet Kiosks
On the Express Check-in screen, administrators can enable one or more quick check-in methods:
FaceID – Scan the visitor’s face to identify their existing visitor record.
QR Code – Scan the visitor’s QR code.
PIN – Enter a PIN assigned to visitors who have been converted into Users.
Email Address – Enter the email address associated with the visitor record.
Phone Number – Enter the phone number associated with the visitor record.
If the visitor is not recognized, they can be redirected to another workflow, such as the general visitor sign-in form, so they can continue checking in as a new visitor.
For more information on adding an express check-in screen and on FaceID, see Workflow: Face Recognition on an iPad or android tablet Kiosk.
2. Sign In via Name Recognition
After an Admin enables the option, visitors can also enter their full name to find a matching visitor record. If a match is found, the visitor can choose to sign in using the existing record or select “Not you? Unlink” to continue as a new visitor. Previously stored information is reused where applicable, helping speed up the check-in process.
If the name matches a pre-registered attendee, the visitor can continue using the registration or select “Not Me!” and proceed with the form.
For more information, see Return Visitor and Pre-Registered Visitor Check-in via Name Recognition.
